The grand old Mobtown Ballroom has lurched its way into 14 years of glorious dancing, performing, teaching, cafe-ing, and a number of other disreputable activities. As David Cavalier says: this place is a pirate ship on fire.

To celebrate 14 years, we are going as hard as we can. Friday and Saturday nights will be headlined by the great Chelsea Reed and her Fairweather Band (7 pieces on Friday, 10 pieces on Saturday). Sunday evening, Michael and Sarah will be personally hosting an evening of groovy music, soul tunes, blues and slow jazz to bring the weekend to a relaxing and elegant conclusion.

Workshops will be available for purchase during the day for those who like a little learning with their party. Performances, competitions, and other shenanigans will be the order of the weekend. Stay tuned for more details.

We are starting with full weekend dance passes only, but there are likely to be a few single day passes available farther down the line.
